0. What is the Court Revel?
The Court Revel is concepted to be an accessible, low-pressure fantasy social night where guests step into a living court to mingle and play light, chaotic games. 1.When and where is Ren Faire SG: The Court Revel held?
Date: 30 May, Saturday
Time: Early Access opens at 4.30 pm; general access enters from 5.00pm, Festivities end at 9PM
Venue: one minute walk from Maxwell MRT, location revealed on purchased tickets
2. How do I buy tickets?
Normal tickets are SGD18 per person, and will be on our site 11th May. Invite your whole kampung! On-the-day tickets (if available) are S$28 at the gate.
Tickets are non-refundable, but are transferrable to another person.
3. What’s included with my ticket?

4. Can I bring children, pets, or strollers?
Children: Welcome, little adventurers! However, many activities have a recommended age of 13 and up; please supervise the little adventurers at all times. Little adventurers must hold a valid ticket to enter. Children 2 and under do not need a ticket.
Pets: pets and service animals permitted. Please leash your pets and clean up after them.
Strollers: OK as most of the event is on paved pathways
5. What should I wear?
Costume is highly encouraged but not required. Feel free to deck yourself out in Renaissance-inspired garb, fairy dresses, or comfy modern attire. Closed-toe shoes recommended for uneven terrain. We do not recommend high heels for our event. Please do not wear revealing or scary costumes and abide by Singapore laws. Organizers reserve the right to remove guests who dress in overly revealing or gory costumes.
5a. What props can I bring?
We are relaxing restrictions on props, and are allowing non-metal weapons of any shape and size to be brought to the event. However, combat with props are strictly disallowed. Do not point prop weapons at others. If your weapon is not certified LARP safe, it cannot be used in the LARP game. Attendees who violate these rules will be removed from the event, and may be banned from future editions of Ren Faire SG.
6. What happens if it rains?
We’re outdoors, so please bring an umbrella or raincoat. As much as possible, the Revel will continue on regardless of weather. Our wet weather plan includes access to an indoor location, but the activities will be much reduced due to space constraints.
Weather related cancellations will only occur if weather conditions present a danger at the venue. Adventurers accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur on event days and acknowledge that tickets will not be refunded if the event is cancelled due to dangerous weather conditions or if a force majeure event occurs.
7. Are there food & drink options?
Yes, local food stalls are on-site at our venue. The venue does not permit outside food to be brought in. Please purchase from FNB establishments at the site.
Water is permitted and highly encouraged. (we encourage reusable bottles). It is highly recommended to enter the event with at least 500ml of water.
There are water points at the venue as well.
8. Is the event wheelchair and stroller accessible?
The venue has gentle slopes and paved paths. However, some of the Revel is conducted on the field. Adventurers are welcome to wander the paths, but activities and parts of the market may be less accessible.
9. Can I volunteer?
Yep! We need help with guest services, guild quests, and setup/tear-down. Sign up via the Volunteer page: click here.
10. What safety measures are in place?
- Certified first-aid volunteer + fully stocked medical kit on-site
- Professional security team at entrance
11. Is there parking or public transport nearby?
- MRT: Maxwell MRT, Chinatown MRT→ 1-min walk from Maxwell.
- Bus: Several routes stop at Chinatown.
- Parking: nearby lots at office buildings. We encourage public transport or ride-hailing.
12. Are there toilets at the event venue?
Yep. There are public toilets right next to the space.
13. What photography/videography rules apply?
Personal photography & social-media sharing 👍
Professional filming requires a permit, please contact us in advance.
DO NOT PHOTOGRAPH OTHER FAIREGOERS WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT.
14. What if I need to cancel or get a refund?
Tickets are non-refundable, but transferable to another person.

16. Can I bring picnic mats?
Yep! In between the chaos, we welcome anyone to just chill and relax. However, we reserve the right to remove/shift attendees if mat placement and density becomes a danger. There are seats at the FNB options in this venue so grabing a bite and settling in is also an option:)
17. How to best enjoy the event?
Bring a pen/writing utensil, a bucket of trinkets, lotsa water, and some money to buy food/drinks/services! We look forward to seeing you on the 30th of May, fair adventurer!
